So I saw the movie Closer some time ago… I couldn’t figure out if I liked it or not, at first, but after having some time to think about it and compile some thoughts I conclude that I liked it. Its theme is very relevant to what I’ve been observing and talking to people about in my life lately. First off, about the movie: It was very VERY explicit

It's Monet, I just don't have a livejournal username..Ok so I actually read the whole thing...I agreed with most of the points especially the sleeping thing. Is the fact that you've slept in front of me twice mean something? As you already know I think I have found the balance in my life to be my simplistic view of happiness and thinking way too much. Thinking and being open-minded/tolerant is so much more frustrating and difficult then being naive and insular...this quote kinda follows this "Living is easy with eyes closed

hmm perhpaps the sleeping fact does mean something.... what about the fact that you haven't allowed yourself to fall asleep as well.. does that mean something?
yeah I totally see why you didnt like the movie. It was a downer. It doesn't really give one much hope in the real world, but in many cases it is soo true. BUT I think the positive thing about it, is to see it, see how those people are and do our best to strive to be the exceptions, or different, or whatever.

The reason I've never fallen asleep is because you're so interesting that I couldn't...I might miss a fart or something haha.

The dream...well I vaguely remember it but I'll try..
Ok so we were at the airport and you were going somewhere, but it was a weird airport cuz instead of like the check-out line, the luggage pick-up, and i dunno the newstand...it had different parts of all the places we've gone to with each other...very weird indeed...all i remember about the end was that you left but then came back, and then i woke up. I dunno what the hell that's about...haha where r u going?

I saw closer today. I agree with everything you said. There was more. But I just got home from seeing it, and I can't exactly place what there was. But yea. I liked the movie, I liked it a lot. I think it has a whole lot of what American thought is missing. =/ I just wish I could think of what it is. =P

thanks.. yea it was a pretty good movie. It's been a while now since I've seen it, I'm due for another viewing! Ooo I heart huckabees comes out on DVD pretty soon, you have to see that, I liked it a lot... very philosophical in an existential sense and HILARIOUS!
