Uni and things

So uni has started! Did i mention that? I dont even remember if i have or not... But yes! Uni is back.

Uni: In detail -
Developmental Psych: I need a $130 book for this course which I probably wont get even though its supposed to have some disk that has practise MULTIPULE choice questions on it.... Our final exam is 100 multichoice questions. w.t.f ...................   Other than that, the name pretty much says what the unit will be about =P Psychology as you develop is what I gather =P  Weekly homework - blarg. We have automatically recieved 10% already, towards our total mark. If we don't do even ONE of the weekly homework activities we automatically LOSE that 10%. Even if its just one. So unless I have a doctors note, I have to go to that tut - rain, hail or shine, sick but not sick enough, having a really bad day etc. I have to be there. Uhg. I also have to go to every bloody lecture (at 830am, meaning I have to leave the house at 715am) beause thats when we get told the questions we have to do for the weekly homework (basically we will get one/a few questions from the lec which we have to answer the next week in the tut).  BUT ANYWAY. Should be good anyways I think. I like psychology =)

Cosmology and the Philosophy of Science: Our VERY VERY small cosmology book for this unit was $30. I can not for the life of me figure out where the money is going. For anyone who knows them - they are smaller than the Penguin books that get published =_+ Thats bloody tiny. I dont know ANYTHING in the slightest about cosmology. I dont even remember what a supernova. The only time i have *ever* done anything related to planets was in PRIMARY school (specifically, year 6). So hmmm.... =P This should be interesting 0.o

Logical and Critical Thinking: Promises to be intense.  We started talking about what an argument was, and the lecturer said of course everything he says is controversial cos anyone could argue what an 'argument' is etc... so yer 3 hours of circular seminars every week. The text book was expensive, but we have weekly homework from the text book so at least I know that I will get the most out of it. If I can get my head around t his course, it will be highly beneficial.

Philosophy: Didnt go to the first lecture due to killing headache (it wasnt even solved by 3 panadols and a shower
Uni: In short - 3 philosophy units, 1 psychology units. Weekly homework for all units. I think 3 out of the 4 should be interesting, but I wont tell  you which one I'm not looking forward too xD

Letters: In detail -
In other news, I decided to write to Brende. I started the letter the other day and finnished it yesterday. Brende is Danes friend and also my friend. I havent spoken to him in over 2 weeks, probably drawing on 3
I also wrote to the ex. I hate refering to him as 'my ex' because he isnt MY bloody anything. Anyway, he is in prison. I'm sorta glad that the prision he is in is over 2 hours of public transport away (one way!) because if he was closer I'd probably consider visiting. Ive decided that while I dont owe him anything in the world, he could probably do with some support. I thought of it as -- if I was in prision and even if Dane and I had broken up over a year ago, Id probably write to him (or anyone really) just to try to find some support any where I could -- And so if I would do the same thing that he is doing, its not really fair to leave him drowing. I dont know if he will reply or not but I think one way or the other I will deal with it.

Letters: In short -
I wrote to the ex who is in prison. Nothing more, nothing less.

ex, uni
