Spiritual wellbeing
I have to say, today was a fantastic day! I had a really great day today. Usually I'll have a great morning, or a great arvy, or a great evening. But today as a whole has been a fantastic day! This morning I started reading the book I got out about parrots/bird behavior, then mid morning Dane called and we chatted for ages. That was pretty nice =) Sometimes he calls up with nothing to say just because he misses me (which can be a bit boring at times =P), but today we had a pretty random/hilarous conversation that I really enjoyed. At about 2 I realised I had gotten a text from David so I quickly called him back and we organised to catch up. I was supposed to be doing some over-the-phone painting with Dane (so he was pretty devo when I had to leave) but I thought.. hell.. i havent seen David in ages, and I could really benefit from being around people at this time. So he came over and we went to the city, then came back here, then went to this *amazing* house that he is house sitting (massive house, right on the beach) to do painting! And god we just bloody chatted for aaaaaaages !! I just got back at 10pm and we were chatting probably about 6 of the 8 hours that I was there =P (the other two hours was when we were painting/meditating)
We really clicked on a lot of subjects and he is a pretty interesting guy to talk to so yer was just fantastic hanging out with him, chattin about alll sorts of different things, and painting! Then at the end we did some form of meditating (not sure which but anyway) which was a new and interesting experience for me*.
So yer, all in all, a fantastic day! Makes me feel really satisfied right now, to have had such a good day. He is quite... spiritually connected and he was talking about that a lot, which made me feel quite happy and comfortable to be around. So right now I feel quite relaxed and contented with my being at this moment. Its quite a new sensation actually.
(*Speaking of new experiences, I also tried sushi for the first time at his house, and tasted orange juice mixed with wheatgrass)
