My aunt Karen and uncle Tom went to my parents last night for dinner. It was very very strange first of all because we never hear from them (they are THAT side of the family) and so to be called out of the blue willing to drive like 2 hours for dinner seemed odd. Plus my Aunt and uncle from Texas are visiting so it would be all of my mom's family. Anyways it turns out the reason for the visit is to tell them that aunt Karen has a type of brain tumor that is deteriorating her vision, as of right now.
