In exactly three weeks from this very moment, I will be back home in sunny LA where there are no thunder and lightning storms. I have mixed feelings about this.
Last Tuesday was when my travel buddies and I went to the Accademia to see Michelangelo's David. I don't need to tell you how magnificent he was, or that all three of us completely fell in love with him. While we were sitting there and staring at the David. I don't remember exactly what the trail of this conversation was for me to have said this, but I decided I would send out a David postcard with only "I'd tap that" written as the message. Then all three of us decided to do it and we all chose one friend and sent them out.
I told another one of my friends this and he completely cracked up simply because it was completely out of character for me. And that's when I realized how crude I've become since I came to this continent. I'm not sure whether or not I'm getting a little too old for these kinds of jokes, but at the very least now I can keep up with my circle of immature guy friends.
