"Good evening, Vexen."
Startled out of his thoughts, he glances up from his book to see a pink-haired stranger standing in front of him, wearing a smile on his face. He doesn’t say anything and neither does the other man, who then walks away, along the rows and rows of books.
Now he knows he goes out of his way to discourage company but this is ridiculous. They can’t not tell him; he should have at least been informed. A simple note would have sufficed.
He grits his teeth before saying the words sitting in his mouth. “And you are?”
