I find myself having ups and downs of energy these last few days. Essentially, I will find myself very tired, even sleepy... and then I eat something and within seconds my energy jumps back up again, and I am fine for several more hours. I am guessing that my body is struggling to maintain my blood sugar levels. Is this a result of quitting sugar, or did I use so much sugar because of stuff like this?

I've always loved sweets, but I remember when I first got sick, one of the symptoms I noticed was that in order to keep my energy up and avoid fits of dizziness, I essentially had to eat something every couple of hours. Not necessarily a meal, but a snack of some kind.

What I ate today:
- vanilla latte & two veggie nuggets
-aforementioned bento
- lentil-vegetable soup
- boca burger patty
- four slices buttered toast
- apple with almond butter

I am sure this is boring most of you by now, but without deeply involving myself in this I doubt I could sustain it. (This is not an apology.)
