I went back to the gym for the first time in a little over a year today, and was actually a little surprised at how little I've lost. I guess xing yi and ba gua are more of a workout than I thought. Or there's something to the whole "chi flow" business. Whatever it is, I'll take it. I do feel much better, especially in that post-workout hyper-oxygenated/thoroughly endorphin-ed state that happens (for me, anyway) every time. Of course, tomorrow I'll be stiff as a board and bitching about it to anyone who'll listen. Now if I could only convince the Y to put up a heavy bag...
