This is going to be my one and only contribution to the conflagration that shall not be named, mostly because it's too ironic to resist. Interstingly I got the same slight preference for dark skin on the IAT. Given I'm white, and will freely admit that I have had racist thoughts at times, that comes as a bit of a surprise.

Mary Anne Mohanraj's posts on Scalzi's blog seem to be really good, to my admittedly limited viewpoint, I found the level of vitriol elsewhere were making the whole thing an automatic avoid for me.

And back on topic. I scored as having a strong preference for Obama over McCain (big surprise) and having no preference for white or black. However, my strong preference for Obama could have influenced any race bias I have in this case, since the two tests were taken so close together. I had a slight preference for white when I took the test months (many months?) before.
