This a poem about Philadelphia through film director Terry Gilliam's eyes.He filmed 12 Monkeys a dark sci-fi thriller in Philly and Baltimore in the 1990's.He was also part of Monty Python and did the animation on the show.His film Brother's Grimm opens today.He's also known for being a very difficult independent film maker and his bizzare images ( Read more... )

good thing we wonm that revolution or else we'd all be speaking english now.

My poem is Philly in Terry Gilliam's eyes.The puppet karoake reference is an event Alex Strang a guest at Zentrancon has and I do agree we need cultural revolution in society now.If I'm getting your point of view correctly I do agree the founding fathers of America were flawed but they did change society.I went into this con due to the fact I hope I can have some influence in Philly through the entertainment of anime and sci-fi I do hope while getting entertained people do get something deep out of it as an art form and so forth.
