Icon & Wedding

New icon, courtesy of J, who chose the wrapping paper for cricketk's present at the last slash gathering, and silver_b_a, who scanned him in for me.  It was love at first sight (followed by a few anxious moments as cricketk vigorously unwrapped the present)!

We got pretty lucky with the weather. Nearly 23 degrees in July!

Who made the chocolate cake? It it so pretty and just what a wedding cake shoudl be. Did it taste as good as it looked?

The caterer made the cake (their plans started with "No caterer, we'll just put out a few baskets of muffins" and when that was met with horror from both mothers things progressed to a catered light serve-yourself brunch plus home-made chocolate chip cookies!). It did taste just as good as it looked, too.

I can only speak for the cake, but it was/is delicious, yes! And the octopus is happy-making, and at least the neighbours know what to expect!
