A side-on "hug" during which only one person is fully sensible just doesn't make the grade! I can provide numerous examples from Supernatural of fully qualifying hugs and I want one like that!
The last two episodes have raised my expectations of what is possible to dangerous, unsustainable levels.
If you didn't have extended leave planned, I'd be floating the prospect of taking the day off on the 22nd and have a House farewell day. As it is, I plan to stay home to watch (there's not enough work to warrant me going to the office twice a week right now anyway).
It's going to be a two-hour episode (I think a one-hour retrospective followed by the finale), but I don't know whether it's scheduled to start earlier or finish later. The torrent I used on Tuesday went up about 10:30am, so assuming the finale runs later, I'd guess not earlier than 11:30am and maybe early afternoon.
I've been doing other things this weekend (chainsawing, bonfires, alpaca toenails, Supernatural transcript) but they're all really just a cover for counting down until Tuesday!
i watched it for a couple of seasons, read some fic (there wasn't a lot of good stuff then iirc) but then House (the character) just got too unpleasant for me to care about at all.
He isn't any more pleasant now, except for with Wilson in the last two episodes. When special_trille first showed me clips from the show, I thought I could never get into it because House was so rude to his team, but apparently good slash potential will eventually trump that for me.
I thought I was the one who thought Chase had a dodgy accent. I was astonished to learn he's actually Australian.
