Of course, I could also see him breaking off to expound upon the chemical composition of salt and where exactly this particular salt must be from, and "Rose, did I ever tell you about the time I was held hostage in a salt mine on the planet, Chloridium, by a hostile band of poachers, called the Pepperaxic -ironically enough .... "

totally digging the picture too! It brings even more life to the story!! This is *so* adorable and *so* believable, and it's a nice change that the Doctor is too piss drunk to babble on about his various encounters with salt. Can't wait for part two! Keep on with the talent, girlie! This would do RTD proud :-D

I hadn't started out with this pic in mind for my story; it came to me after the fact. That being said, I've decided to hijack this entire snippet from Rose's opening AoG montage and work it into my story. ;)

First of all, thank you for your lovely comment!

I can completely imagine a drunk and giddy Rose doing this - she's a toughy, and is always ready to give back as good as she gets - even piggy backs! In writing about them toppling over, all I could think of was that scene in the opening of Tooth and Claw: Rose and Ten in the console room, collapsing to the floor and howling with laughter when the TARDIS makes a rough landing. I imagine them writhing with hysterical laughter on the sidewalk, exactly the same way, here in my story.

Second of all, I LOVE your icon! It absolutely encapsulates the mood I'm trying to set in this fic - that these two are completely insane and a bit magnificent. Screw angst - I just want them to be magnificent!
