This was really good. So good I had to skip through and make sure it ended happily before I went back and read the middle. I enjoyed the progression of John and Lestrade's relationship and the way it ended with feeding the ducks.

I am very unlikely to write an unhappy ending to anything. I like all the characters too much to do that to them. I'm glad you liked it. And yes, love for the ducks!

I suspect that is why Sherlock approves of Greg for John. Greg is unlikely to be thrown by Sherlock crashing a date.
