Summary: A remix of the movie with the Romulans and Spock Prime as the good guys who have come back in time to defend their universe against an invasion by the Vulcan Empire. Humans are the attack dogs of the Empire, and Captain Pike is the poster boy for all that humans can achieve under Vulcan tutelage. Can any of the humans be won over to the other side?
Author’s note: This an AU parallel universe story. The universe of TOS is similar but not identical. This Mirror Universe is not the TOS Mirror Universe. The story is a remix of the movie, so some of the dialogue (and much of the plot) comes directly from the film.
