Another sensational episode. I haven't been this speculative since we all wondered what was wrong with Sam! Did I say that already? I may have. Anyway...if you're going to mess around with religions on your Show, you may as well go the whole way and really poke at it. [Spoilers (click to open)]You know, like suggesting that the Deity of one of the bigger patriarchal

Love it! I have no idea what Carver is going to do with Amara but I really really hope it is something like this. I wonder if he has the courage though - to take it into the Realm of the Feminine and explore the injustices of this world...
But if not, that's what we are here for! Pushing the boundaries and fixing things men have broken.
Yes, I have no idea either and somehow I doubt they'll have the courage to go the whole hog here, but hey, as you say, we can push the boundaries with fanfic! :D Glad you enjoyed. And thanks for picking up that typo which I've now fixed! :D
Ohhhh, I loved this - what a wonderful idea! I really hope TPTB are going in this direction, of an all powerful female God set on righting the wrongs of gender equality.
Also I loved the idea that Amara has a small piece of Dean's soul and that's why they're connected the way that they are. You could definitely be on to something with that...
Wonderful fic - thank you so much for sharing your thinky thoughts. Take care, :)
This season is definitely making me have many thinky thoughts! Dean and Amara being connected, Dean being just a little off...I'm looking for reasons and having a lot of fun speculating. :D So glad you enjoyed. The PTB could do some really interesting things with this storyline...or they could wuss out completely! We'll have to wait and see. Thank you for reading and commenting. :D
Thank you! Amara seems to me to be quite possessive of Dean and while there's a certain level of adoration there, the intensity is also quite creepy! Show has some really interesting opportunities with this storyline. It will be interesting to see where they go.
This is wonderful, and I love how you riffed on that hint of duality in Genesis, and brought out all of the parallels about sibling betrayal.
Also, I love how she picked up on Dean's feminine characteristics (my headcanon is that a lot of his more hyper-masculine behavior is consciously or subconsciously meant to mask those characteristics - and I could go on and on and on...)
I cracked up at the idea of Amara Reading the Comments. Talk about a raw view into human psychology.
Thank you! If God has a sister, then that duality in Genesis suddenly becomes really interesting. And yes, the Mark of Cain...that was first placed on Lucifer...that God was using as a Lock to keep his sister confined...suddenly that all becomes so much more as well. I'm so fascinated by all the places Show could go with this storyline!
I also have many of those same headcanons about Dean!
When I saw Amara had been on the internet, I couldn't help but wonder what she would make of all the online misogyny she was bound to come across!
