So this is actually a little less academic than a post I'd regularly make, but I just wanted to get this out my my system: I know people think race, class, gender and sexual orientation are the holy grail of diversity, but that doesn't mean tokenization doesn't happen because of other aspects of one's life.  So Hikari contacted me the other day

All I can say is that you are horribly right. The only way through it (as far as I can see) is to keep getting back up again and refuse to give up until you've won.
