And Gwen haunts the entire episode, as much as the druid boy does.

True. I found this episode incredibly atmospheric. (Stupid tag scene aside.)

the wrong was not simply failing to protect the women and children while slaughtering their menfolk, but raiding the camp at all.And that's why it is so important that the pledge at the end isn't something about forbidding his men to *insert criminal misdemeanour suitable for ears of pre 9 pm audience* but to restore the druids' status to protected citizens instead of persecuted outlaws. I.e. changing the law, not dealing just with an effect of it ( ... )

It is a very clever review, particularly on Arthur's transformation and independance and on the focus. Agravaine's loss of importance was annoying, because Nathaniel Parker is very skilled.

Thank you for mentionning Marie de France. I would really like to read her work now.

I really look forward to read your next review. You will probably be as insightful as ever, and 4x11 is very special, because of Gwen, of a new character, and of the princess Mithian.
