[Discussion] KT-TUN around Asia tour and Jin in LA

Mar 25, 2010 15:03

I just read (probably like everyone else ^^’) the news about KT-TUN touring around Asia and Jin going to LA again and I must say, that I was rather surprised by all the comments I saw, and what the people say about it… Because I am actually kind of happy about all this… (am I weird? XD)

to my thoughts... )

I didn't read through all of it, but I pretty much agree with you. And come on, people bashing Jin for this particular thing are naïve for thinking he is personally the one in charge for everything. Don't forget he is working for a company who wants to broaden their market.

It's publicity and although it feels a bit strange and perhaps even sad that KT-TUN will tour without Jin, they are grown adults and far from the only band who separate from time to time with solo activities and movies and what not.

Thank you for posting it in the first place and opening up to a very clean discussion. :)

I want to add also, that I understand people are really sad about it. It is sad. But there's no one to blame for this except perhaps the American tv-show who offered him a particular date.

Personally I'm just happy he can develop further, and I would be equally happy if it was anyone else from KT doing it. I want their fortune and I think it will be exciting to see how the tour and Jin's solo activities will work out in an optimistic spirit!

right. It would have been a great opportunity for any other member, and even any other japanese artist, to be able to export their work!

let's hope he'll make the best out of this chance, and won't let bashing influence him :)

to be honest i totally sicks of ppls point all the blame to Jin..just like he already murder someone or what.. is it really his own decision go to LA? he cannot decide that by himself! if not fans already got a massive album, dvd etcs the true is he struggling to convince JE about the stuff he wanna do..do u how much his effort he putting into until he got to perform you&jin Japan..i bet u don't! so i think if ppls who doesn't know him better, it's good if they gonna give up on him coz Jin don't deserved ike that!

a TV channel offered Jin to come to the US after seeing his performances of You&Jin which means, he didn't actually have the choice of when he wanted to go there. It was probably difficult for him to leave KAt-TUN at such an important time of their career, but believe he did the right decision. the timing was indeed bad, but he didn't choose it. this was probably a difficult decision for him, and for the group. Even though it's sad to see them being only 5 people again, it won't last forever! Jin will be back in 6 month which isn't such a long time ( ... )

Jin got the opportunity, and I don't think he's the one to choose when he wants to go to LA, but rather the TV channel that invited him chose. I think it was also difficult for Jin to leave KAT-TUN at such an important time of their career. It was probably a really though choice for him. He would probably also have preffered to be with the rest of the group for their Asia tour.

I agree, his decision is a little selfish, but sometimes you have to think about yourself to fulfill your dreams, and not only do what others would like you to do. Jin chose to go to LA because this oppotunity is bringing him closer to his dream of "going world wide" that's why, even if it seems selfish for him to leave like this, I support him!

they already managed to work without him before and they'll work it out now too. They're adults and can handle this kind of situations I think :)

thanks for reading and giving your opinion :)

I completely agree with you. I was reading other comments and it was sad to read so many complaining that Jin only looks out for himself. The only reason I started listening to KAT-TUN is because of Jin, but I've grown to like them all. Its a sad day when fans will tear down a member of the group because they don't approve of something.

I agree with you :)
Fans bashing Jin because he's taking this chance to play in the US, makes me think of how fans were mean to Kame because he debuted without KAT-TUN... >.<

thanks for reading and commenting! :)

I agree with you and sadly, this happens all the time in most fandoms. Let's not forget that Jin is a human being just like the rest of us and the pressure from the fans right now would most likely kill me if I was in his shoes.
