Fandoms in the Marvel Ultimate Universe

We have reviewed the complaints many of you have had about the Marvel Ultimates nominations. Due to the confusion surrounding the decisions we’ve made regarding this particular fandom, after consulting with tag mods familiar with the fandom, we’ve decided to elaborate on the process behind it and its review.

I suspect strongly that people nominating Stacey were interested in writing about the clone. If you want to rename the character "Gwen Stacey (clone)" then I think that's silly, but it'd be fair to the nominators, which this decision isn't.

Futhermore, the people doing the nominating did so under the tag "Ultimate Spider-Man," not "Ultimate Comics Spider-Man." So eliminating her for not appearing in Ultimate Comics Spider-Man is blatantly unfair.
