I said in an earlier post, that I had started writing poetry. I have decided (*gulp*) to post the first one I wrote here. It is very short, only one stanza, and I am more than a little nervous about it. A little backstory on it, first. Considering I have no sense for poetry, I can't give you any constructive or otherwise criticism, but on an immediate "what do I think of this" level, I think you don't have much need to be nervous. It's short and sweet and evokes some nice visuals, as you may very well have been hoping for. ^_^

I might have had more to say, but working 8am-10pm this week.... Tired...

I don't really feel like I have a sense for poetry either. This one hit me as we where turning to come in for a landing, and I could look out the windows on one side of the plane and its all dark, and on the other side, it was like the sky was on fire.

I've written several others since then. They'll probably eventually get posted. Why I suddenly started writing poetry? I have no idea. But I won't complain. At least I'm writing. ^_^ Thanks for responding.

8 AM - 10 PM? Holy Shit, Batman! What's up with that?
