[voice]

Ow! What was that for?

[A pause as Delia collects herself.]

Is this some kind of armory?

[ooc: Delia stumbled upon the band room Tess was messing with the inventory's old guns in, with mun permission.]

omg guns, discovery, communicator

[pacing back and forth while waiting, occasionally casting an uncomfortable glance at the bits of metal and lead scattered about, Delia, surprisingly, made no attempt to clean up or organize the weapons in disarray. Eventually, she went to open the door and stand in the doorway, gently shutting the door behind her and leaning against it; she didn't like being around all those weapons.]

He doesn't eat that much, he's pretty small.

[At Mello's suggestion, Delia nods.] That's a good idea. I'm pretty sure he'll behave.

[Snort.] Well, if he's guarding the place, I'd kind of hope for the opposite.

[Back to the inventory they go.] Although I have no idea what he could do besides puff up and bite people. Guess that'll have to be enough.

Pikachu was raised to be a battler. If he's told to guard a place, he'll usually guard it.

I've seen what Pikachu can do. Even without his electricity, he's a good fighter.

[Well, he has to pretend to be surprised, after all.] Electricity...? Sounds like he doesn't have his chip out.

[Delia shook her head.] No, he doesn't. He really wants it out though; electricity isn't just a power for him, it's part of his life.

[Blinks, and looks like he's thinking about that for a moment.] I guess I can sort of see how that works. I've just never met a rat with electricity before, that's all.

[Seemingly dismissing the matter.] How long's he been here, anyway? He seems to know the high school pretty well; couldn't find him at all once he took off.

Pikachu are pretty common where I come from, but I can see why you haven't met one before. Hardly anybody here even knows what a Pokemon is!

Pikachu? I'm not sure.... A lot longer than I have, I know that.

I'm not surprised. There's all kinds of people here. [And he's done putting his part of the stash away, and maybe found something new and useful. All in all, not a bad return for a sudden trip to an abandoned room that he'd never heard of.]

I think we're about done, here. Thanks for your help--and for finding this lot before somebody a lot less well-intentioned got to it.

[He settles on a box and gives her a serious look.] And you seem like you have the common sense not to go blabbing about where the weapons are stored, so I'll be relying on you for that. No matter who asks, or for what reason, all right? We'll be figuring out how to get these to the people who need them, so if they're asking you instead, they're probably up to no good.

[With a serious nod, Delia agrees.] If you have some way of keeping it secret even when you walk into inventory, that'd be even better, right?

[Raises an eyebrow at her.] I guess. What, like a secret trapdoor? Can't say that hasn't crossed my mind. Or were you thinking something else?

[Crossing her arms and glancing down, Delia shrugs.] Or something like that; it was just an idea. Anyway, I won't tell anyone about this.

[Faint quirk of the lips.] I'll think about it. Thanks for everything. [He tilts his head at the small, high window and what little light there is left.] You should probably get home before it gets any darker.

You're welcome! I was glad to help out.

Don't worry about me getting home, I don't have to leave the building for that.

[Well, that's not surprising; the high school is one of the only places with working electricity, although most of the people he's met are crammed into Latimir anyway.

That being said--]

Do you go exploring in the school like that a lot? I get the feeling no one's been in that room for a while.
[Not since those weapons were left there, at any rate. They hadn't been dusty enough to be an original stash, but...]

Sometimes, when things quiet down. Most of the time it's too busy around here to really take a stroll.
