Okay, I love LOTR and every post thanksgiving, pre-Christmas timeframe.. I lock myself in the bathroom, in a bath, and watch the trilogy on a little portable DVD player.. It takes a long time, but I always do this.. So, on my little adventure through Middle-earth I thought I would look out on the web and see what is happening in the world of LOTR ( Read more... )

I have been watching the three segment on television. They ran Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I need to go buy the DVD but am hoping to find it on BlueRay.
Didn't you get awfully waterlogged after that much time in the water???

LOL I actually had to watch the first show in two segments because I have the extended versions.. So, I took a break after rivendell ;-)

My freshman year of high school we did the musical version of the Hobbit. It was kinda bad on a serious theater level, but some of the most fun I think we ever had. (I still find myself singing songs from that damn show now over 14 years later.)

Really? I bet that was a really risky show to pull off up there in Munising.. I know my high school (Rapid River) couldn't pull off a simple musical back in the 90's or even now.. We just don't have the musical talent or a choir ;-P So, finding people willing to sing would be impossible. but, very interesting.. And, unfortunately those old musical songs come back and haunt your for years. lol
