*lol* now you are joined up so that is a start.

To post on the group... well you know when you update how at the bottom of the page (of you do it through LJ itself) it says something like "post as user" or "post to"? There should be a pulldown menu there and if you chose the talesbythefire option that will post your post only to the group.

Are you using any messenger program now? It might be easier to do these things over some kind of IM *lol*
