I obviously have no sense of priorites. Oh wait, that's not quite right. It's very obvious that my priority is Kanjani8, which totally should not be the case! But oh well.
I made other attempts at translating lyrics last night, when I had no internet connection. >.> And today I wasn't able to go to school for free internet, so now I'm at an internet cafe just so I can post these attempts. *sigh* soooo weird, Yna. >.>
I'll shut up now and get to the lyrics. Kanji thanks to
mido_midori 咲いて生きよ
Saite Ikiyou
Saite ikiyo tomo ni sorezore no mirai e
[Bloom freshly/smile and live]*, together, to our respective futures
Namida nanka miseru na mada aerunda kara
We show things like tears, because we will meet again
Furi mukeba tashikani shippai mo kui mo aru keredo
If we turn, surely, failures and regrets are there, but
Kujikezu ni ganbatte Bokura wa aruitekita
[Let’s not be crushed] and do our best, we walked forward
Joudan bakka itte wa hitori de nayandeta hibi mo
I said lots of jokes, but I worried alone everyday, too
Nanimo kamo ga setsunai hodo kagayaiteru
[Just about everything, the painful limit glitters]
Kaze ni fukare kata narabete
The wind blows, [in line with my shoulder]
Suna bokori ni mamirenagara
While covered by a Cloud of dust/sand
Naite waratta toki** wo Wasurenai kara…
Because I won’t forget the times I cried and laughed
Saite ikiyo tomo ni sorezore no mirai e
[Bloom freshly/smile and live], together, to our respective futures
Namida nanka miseru na mata aerunda kara
Tears [are somehow] shown, because we will meet again
Aa soko ni haru
Aa, spring is there
Ima kibou no hana ga
Now, hope’s flowers are
Hora kokoro ni saiteru
Look, blooming in [our] hearts
Omou youni ikanai jinsei wa sonna mon da to
So that we can feel that we won’t [leave/live]***
Akiramete shimau hodo bokura wa sunao janai
To the point that we give up completely, we are not honest
Tanoshimu dake ja mirenai Mabushi sora ga ari koto mo
To just enjoy yourself, you can’t see The
Daremo minna Kizutsuku hodo wakatteiru
Anyone, everyone, gets hurt to some extent, I understand that
Yuuyake gumo utsusu madobe
The cloudy sunset [reflects/casts a shadow] beside the window
Tooi yume wo nagame na kara
Because we view the distant dream
Atsuku katatta omoi
The [hot/warm] feelings we told
Uso janai darou?
Aren’t lies, right?
Saite ikyo kimi ni ashita ga aru kagiri
[Bloom freshly/smile and live], as much as possible
Kotae nanka isogu na Mada tsuzukunda kara
Answers are somehow hurried, because we still continue
Aa, hoo ni [kaze] fuku
Aa, [the wind] blows on our cheeks
Iza tabidatsu toki da
Now, the time to set off
Hora dareka ga yonderu
Look, someone is calling out
(Goodbye days) Egao de (Goodbye friends) sayonara
(Goodbye days) With a smile, (Goodbye friends) goodbye
(Goodbye tears, Goodbye lovers)
(Goodbye tears, Goodbye lovers) Sabishii kedo kono mama
(Goodbye tears, Goodbye lovers) It’s sad, but left like this
(Goodbye days) Egao de (Goodbye friends) Arigatou
(Goodbye days) With a smile, (Goodbye friends) thank you
Saite ikyou tomo ni sorezore no mirai e
[Bloom freshly/smile and live]*, together, to our respective futures
Namida nanka miseru na Mata aerunda kara
We show things like tears, because we will meet again
Aa soko ni haru
Aa, spring is there
Ima kibou no hana ga
Now, hope’s flowers are
Hora, konna ni saiteru
Look, blooming [this way/like this]
* The kanji combination咲いて生きよ can mean either of those (or some other combination of the meanings), so I’m not sure which one it is.
**kanji is “shunkan” but Subaru sang it as “toki”
*** I’m not sure which one it is, if it’s even either of those, because it’s in hiragana and not kanji. 行 (Iku) = go and生きる(Ikiru) = live can both be root words for “ikanai”
I’m not all that confident with my Japanese yet, so if there are any corrections/mistranslations please do tell me. I appreciate help.
