O you wretched cold,
the unbearable 15 minutes' wait.

I overheard a guy on a crutch chatting with an old lady, presumably strangers. He mentioned how his dad "nearly died" in Toronto, when temperatures plummeged to "average -40" in winter. I gulped mentally.

Heh. Some ppl from Toronto come to Vancouver, and decides our single-digit temperature is warm enough to go around in shorts. d=

haha I knew a guy who went to a ski resort, in Colorado, in the depths of winter, and wore his shorts in the snow on the slopes.

When I used to go home from college to visit my family in the winter, I'd get reset to their very clod climate and when I got back to my lovely warm college I'd be fine but everyone else was "freezing." Whatever that expression might mean in the subtropics.

Hey, jogging in the cold is one thing - but skiing in shorts?!!! Did he move from the antartica or what? o_O

Subtropic temperatures are still too cold for my taste heh.

Has it snowed in your area yet?I told ya it would be a complete temp difference!I hate cold weather but I love snow...I'm just weird :p

No it hasn't! It was supposed to yesterday, according to the weather channel but then it rained and the cold lessened.

I'm surprise cause I know some other people that are getting literally feet of snow around you. Do you like living up there so far?

i'm in british columbia, warmest part of canada yet.

no, i don't like it here much. not that there's anything particularly bad about canada, but i'm biased to my routine and lifestyle in singapore.
