A Subject! (<-- just to please aviles....)
this winter vacation needs to roll around a little bit faster. the past week has been looooooonng.
i've stayed up till about 3 every night/morning....just procrastinating. you know, what i'm best at. i just can't seem to get myself to start my homework before about midnight. its weird. i gotta get out of this groove rut.
anyway once i spent the wee hours of each weekday researching for a group gov't project, then promising myself i'd do my ap physics work (then not doing it), i fell into the weekend.
whew...very draining weekend. after work on friday, we had a surprise-not-so-surprise party for ML (somehow he found out about it...he always finds out about these things) at the ritz. a bunch of tkd folks dancing the night away on the 15th floor of the ritz. dancing, drinking, dancing, dancing, drinking, laughing, drinking, dancing, drinking, drinking, drinking, dancing, laughing, danc-- drinking.
at around 3ish...
a few people passed out after a few too many rounds bottles of grey goose. alex and i had to hold back a parent from jumping on anthony...both smashed. at this time, i had to go pick up mike and chris at riverview (they had gotten back from ft. lauderdale for the football game), leaving alex alone -- the only fully sober person other than me -- to deal with 4 passed-out gentlemen.
i got back to find they had all passed out and thrown up...one on the floor. anthony was walking so we took him downstairs and drove him home. mike and chris stayed with their mom to help out with the remaining three.
i got home at 4:15 am, saturday morning.
i woke up at about 7:15 to get to SWAT practice at 8. i worked all day, we had a 7-year-old's b-day party, then we had more swat practice. immediately after that, we headed downtown and waited in the holiday parade line for who know's how long.
overall, the parade went well, though. we got to the end then had the joy of walking all the way back to the start to our cars. then we went to ML's and watched Die Another Day, made fun of it, and ate pizza.
i got home at midnight...exactly.
well...now i'm tired.
