Even if his religious conviction is sincere, I don't think his conversion extends to turning him into a good director. A hack, if there was one, I think. I assisted my colleague in his media studies class today, and we talked about this film. Good discussion, considering no one has seen it yet. In fact, my worry is that, as a media studies teacher, I may HAVE to see the film even if I don't want to. It does seem to show an important and highly disturbing trend.
