(I had notepad open to make comments as I read but got too wrapped up in the story... until I hit the picture of Bruce Sugarbreeze in the boat... aww, cuteness overload... now back to the story.)
I'm glad that the family didn't lose the children (again), good of the town to rally around them.
Loved the letter from the lost child.
The elephants look amazing outside in the lot.
I enjoyed your different approach very much and I so wish your update was longer - I'm greedy for more :D
hehe, Bruce Sugarbreeze frequently gives me cuteness overloads. I love him :)
ME TOO!! I was panicking while playing that segment, especially as seeing that it would remove *all* my potential heirs. When that blue van pulled up I almost couldn't believe their bad luck, lol.
The elephants do look great outside the lot, don't they? I decided to keep several out there, I mean, they do have "outdoor rooms" so it made sense! (Besides, the oasis and the pool would have to be tempting for the thirsty elephants ^.^) I added a note about the elephants above, if you want to check it out.
Desert elephants! That's excellent how appropriately it fits in with where your family live... wish they'd had photos of them but I guess the elephants look the same, it would only be side by side that we'd notice the size difference.
Just read the note about 'pleading with the social worker' too. Thank goodness you selected that secondary.
Your different approach to the narration was great.
So what really happened with the social worker? Did you plead to make her go away or what? (I love hearing the behind the scenes stories)
This legacy has THE BEST noses. Period.
And I love how you worked in the elephants. I almost expect them to be used to go and find the missing family members. A big caravan across the desert, Lawrence of Arabia style.
Ahh, the social worker. I added something to the notes above, but essentially, yes. I had forgotten that Aloe has the secondary of Family and the "plead for family" bonus. So she just walked up to him and said they had 24 hours to get it together. Thank goodness!!
I continue to play by my revised DIY rules as far as house remodeling goes, and since they'd already done the work for the day I had to call in reinforcements to get the roof on the addition pronto! It was a very dramatic play session!
Noses? Yes, they really do don't they? I fully expect Artie's nose to last the whole five generations, lol!! (As long as I have boys, that is.) And I wouldn't be surprised if Dagny's eyes (the light blue) come back, I think Bruce Sugarbreeze probably has them as recessive.
Riding the elephants!! Now there's something I hadn't thought of yet, lol!!
Outdoor living ftw!! Though I'll admit, they all get much warmer/overheated when half their house is outside >.> Wasn't really very practical on my part, lol!
The letter *is* exciting, I had fun with that one :) I hope to be able to share more of their very interesting side story!

The letter from their long lost siblings was perfect! This is an exciting development.
I really love the way you introduced the elephants, too.
The narration worked great. I can't wait to find out what happens next! :)
