Katori Shingo will be the lead of TBS drama, Kazoku no Katachi (The Shape of Family) starting January on Sundays 9pm slot, which will replace the currently airing Abe Hiroshi's Shitamachi Rocket. Ueno Juri, Nishida Toshiyuki and Fubuki Jun will co-star

Actually I am looking forward to this drama! I liked the ghost story (I LOVE Ann plus Shingo was a cutie), although I found the Kisumai and ABC-Z guys horribly annoying. And I might have liked Shiawase, if Ms. Kuroki was replaced with smb else. She is a beauty, but as stiff as a log. Sorry to say that, but I never sensed any chemistry between her and her co-stars (neither Tsuyopon, not Kimura or Shingo, or even Gackt!!). So yeah. Smoking Gun was OK - again not thrilling, but I must say, I watcged it with pleasure! Now I am looking forward to forever-single Shingo ;) Let's hope for the best, ne?!

Sounds interesting! Definitely looking forward to it. I typically enjoy all of Shingo's works, but my ultimate favourite is Bara no nai Hanaya.

I do hope Shingo gets married--if that's what he wants to do.
