It is funny, to me at least, how the Hollyweird elite think that they are the pulse of the nation, even as they sip champagne in Cannes, attend all sorts of parties populated by like-minded people, instead of actually, you know, living between the people they say they represent. And that there are a lot of supposedly normal people who think they are so right in their views that they follow them slavishly. Sean Penn comes to mind. The boy who played Bourne in the trilogy. When I hear them speak about what is happening in the world, I wonder every time, where exactly their heads are lodged, or if they've donated their brains to science because they sure as hell aren't using them for thinking, or you know, actually researching the problems we mere mortals face from all sides.
Found this after my original post. I shudder to think how this story would play out in the political world of Kentucky. Particularly note the part when she is asked about spirituality. Her response is " ÒChurch and religion are SO important to me. The God thing, the Jesus thing, the Buddha thing, so important to me" Just ponder, just ponder how that statement would play in rural Kentucky.
It used to be that most actors and actresses actually worked for a living before they got into acting. Most of them weren't narcissistic idiots who thought the world revolved around them. I think most of the Old Guard actually served in some capacity during the last World War and even before and after, actually held down jobs. Charles Bronson used to work in coal mines if I recall correctly
