Loving the witty banter between Seth and Ryan, you really write it well. I'm not sure all parents would be so accepting about their kids sexuality, but it would be nice to think so.

Seth grounds the mast in its socket while Ryan takes the other end and walks up the boat, lifting the mast until it's vertical. Seth scrambles around and attaches the stays to keep the mast rigid while Ryan holds it up.
