I really enjoyed this - it's always incredibly interesting to see different authors' takes on Joshua's background. His first meeting with Hanekoma was delightful; Joshua trying to outsmart Hanekoma, and in turn being outsmarted. And the thing that sets Joshua off on his path to becoming Composer, just wanting to fix up the music...
Seriously, seriously gorgeous! Your writing style is incredible and Joshua's voice is captured so perfectly ♥

I've always been struck by how fiercely Joshua considers the decision to destroy Shibuya -- "before the other grounds are poisoned and all is lost," he says at one point -- and that one sentence spoke to me about how big a picture Joshua looks at. He would have wanted to become Composer for something greater than just himself (Shibuya's music, in this case). And heee Hanekoma and Joshua's interactions always amuses me, since Hanekoma's one of the few who can stand up to Joshua's dramatic, all-powerful megolomaniac-ness.
Thank you ♥ I'm so happy you enjoyed this!

Hehe, that sentence really did speak volumes. Joshua wasn't doing it on a whim, wasn't just pure frustration that humans were horrible creatures (not entirely, anyway) and to be honest, it relieved me to know that. And also made me curious about the other grounds! Also, religious allegories everywhere whooot o/
