Gracious...I can't even imagine what a difficult time that must have been, and what a tough place it must be for your family especially at this time every year. That's so devestating, it's one of those things that you wonder how you can ever 'overcome' or come to terms with. Loss alone is so hard, but loss by violence...my heart goes out to your family. The core of that family must be very strong to have come through something so difficult, pulling together to get through it together, as it sounds like you did.
