I'll suggest another thing now that I thought of it: remixes? It might be fun to remix each others drabbles or ficlets (maybe drabbles are too short to be remixed? But then again, it would be a challenge...) I don't know if graphics people do that, but it might work over there too?
That sounds alright, but I don't really know much about remixes, is there general rules or description to writing remixes of other people's drabbles/ficlets?
We had a great challenge over at drwholand, and I thought we could maybe do something similar here. It was a spam challenge. Every team started a post and had to spam like crazy. :-)) The team with the most comments won. It didn't matter what was written in the comments as long as it were at least 2 words. It was a very good way to get to know eachother a bit and bond with your teammembers.
How about a crossover between the writing community and the graphics community? Like... Graphics people make a picture and fic writers challenge is to write a story inspired by it, or graphics people has to make a piece that illustrates for example, any of the drabbles or ficlets posted so far?

I've actually had similiar ideas of combining a challenge for the writing&graphics communities so this is definitely on the list of upcoming challenges ;D
I really hate the recent challenges that require us to join/participate in another community. I am not interested in those communities, or else I would already be a member.
I'm sorry you feel that way, I may or may not do it again in the future depending on the popularity of the contest. All I require you to do is to use the same format of the community, only using crossover claims. If you don't complete the claim/table by the end of the time I give you then you can just quit that community and declaim whatever you had if you so wish. You don't have to keep being part of them.
