Characters: Amanda OPEN Time: Late afternoon Location: An empty art studio Content: Amanda is making a Fenn trap in an empty room. This...might end well? Format: Action...because I'm lazy tonight...
[Franky was just cutting through the halls on his way to the kitchen after another scolding from Emma on his express disregard for the dress code. He wasn't listening much, just thinking about how he wanted a sandwich real bad.
Though, his ears are better attuned to picking up on other, more interesting things, like the tiny rattle of a loose screw, or that subtle squeak of screwdriver returning it to its place. This is a bit of a distance from his shed, or the metalshop room. Is someone doing repairs or something?
The sound leads him to a room, where he sees the back of some kid hunched over something. Raising a brow, the cyborg leans an arm against the top of the doorframe, stooped so he can see inside proper. All the doors in this place are way too small.]
Oi, girlie, got a reason why the other rooms made for tinkerin' aren't good enough for ya?
[Jack is on his way down to his basement work room when he hears tinkering from behind a door to an art studio. A bit curious about who else was working on inventions of questionable legality, he stops and peeks in the door.
Oh, it's Amanda.
He realizes she's working on a fenn trap. Now even more curious, he starts to come all the way in, then hesitates.

Not really. Just decided to try somewhere new for a change...get a different view.
[Not seeing anything wrong with it, she sets it on the tble, the chain making a soft clinking noise.]
Is there something wrong with me working here?

Nah, ain't like I give a crap about where you do stuff. Scenery around here can get pretty damn stagnant, f'sure.
You got some sort of rodent problem?

Good, My rooms a bit too small to spread out as much as I'm used to.
I've seen a few around. Figured getting rid of them would give me something to do.

Well... they are friends, right? Sort of?
He comes the rest of the way in.]
Uh... Hey, Amanda.

Just couldn't stay away, could you?
[Turning back to her project she motioned for him to come in]
If you're coming in, then get in here, don't just lurk at the door like a creeper.

Soooo... You're making a fenn trap? [Yeah, that was smooth.]

[The grin she shot him would have frozen a demon in it's tracks.]
Especially when you make them with...additions.
