VOLUNTEERS!
WE NEED THEM.
SSSssso we've got quite a few plot nuggets looming up in the near future but the thing about plot nuggets is we need people for them. WHAT WE NEED IS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Firstly we need an ex-student - or several - who're with the Brotherhood to get in contact with the Xavier Institute somehow, so that the Institute's tech people can set up a way to allow communication between the Brotherhood and the Institute. The specifics of how this will work will obvs. be elaborated on when this goes into effect!
A character with enough mad hacking skillz to get onto the Institute's network from Casa Bronita would be ideal, but failing that it could just be some people calling back on their boring ol' cell phones when the submarine goes ashore.
Depending on who's up for this it could be a bit more sinister than Brofolk just wanting to keep in contact, but WE SHALL SEE.
2. Brotherhood again: volunteers to go on ~missions~. What kind of missions exactly will depend on who volunteers! These are most likely going to be more established members, although if any of the recently-acquired youngsters have been ~showing promise~ (read: they might be good at that stuff and they aren't going to be upset by fighting/stealing/killing/&c.) then they might be brought along to have the ropes shown to them.
3. A smallish group of students (no more than 5 or 6) to run into one of the above Brotherhood expeditions, and one or two staff member/s for their mandatory adult supervision. This could work with un-fighty students, but it would be best to have at least a couple who're either too superheroic for their own good or want an excuse to punch something, or both. At least one student will be severely injured (ideally not one with a massive healing factor, but that goes without saying). If a lot of people are interested we can spread this across two groups.
4. We'd also like to know which, if any, students come from mining towns.
5. Finally! This is not plot-related, but our mentor group department is a bit of a shambles right now and we need more mentors before we can glue it back together! So if you've got a staff member who you want to be a mentor, let us know and we'll give them some kids to be in charge of.
