The problem with LJ: we all think we're so close, but really we know nothing about each other.
So I want you to ask me something you think that you should know about me.
Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about.
Ask away...
Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.
stolen from lots of other

1. What was the reason you got into magic, specifically? Why do you stay?
2. What is you very favorite past-time? What do you do for fun?
3. What action made you feel the dirtiest you have ever felt?
4. Do you play in the rain?
5. Freebie: What is one thing you want people to know about you, that isn't public?

Depends on your definition of "getting into magic". There's actually 3 answers here:
Technically, I've always been involved in magic. I grew up in a very Shamanistic version of Chris+ianity, wherein I have been a part of many "Miracles" since childhood, particularly Healings.
I was first attracted to "Magic" when I was growing up in this Chris+ian environment by getting into "stage" magic in early grade school.
I first got into "Magick" magic early in high school as I was exploring myself via Hypnosis. I realized that the field of Hypnosis was only scratching the surface of unConscious powers, and so I set out to further investigate...
Why do you stay?
Because I think that Magickal Models are some of the most interesting, Fun, and "accurate" Maps of the InfiniVerses that I've yet found.
2. What is you very favorite past-time?
listening to music whilst doing something else, preferably low-stim.
What do you do for fun?that... or read... or wRite... or hang out with ( ... )

So with that in mind, I have just got to know-why 3 Coyotes. In one question that includes the animal and the number. Some of it comes down to where you grow up I guess. In beautiful downtown Burbank, pets were tasty snacks for coyotes but in 1985 during a Summer job I discovered that wolves favored coyotes on their dinner buffet.
So please do tell...

...birds of a feather...
Those of us who John Galt the society around us when you are so optomistic in your being.
ya lost me with the "John Galt" reference, but if you're wondering why I'm optimistic when most hyper-intelligent people are so cynical and pessimistic, I'd say the answer is, quite Simply:
Because I Choose to.
Being an unhappy, cynical, pessimistic whiner only made me and everyone else around me miserable. It did not do a goddamn thing else! So, being rather intelligent, it only took me several years to notice this and make the necessary Changes so that, if my attitude isn't really gonna make much of a difference either way in the greater InfiniVerses, then at least if I'm happy, accepting, and optimistic, at least I (and most people around me) might feel good, too!
YMMV

I tried "John Galt" in google (I do have the netiquette to at least try google before asking questions about stuff!), but it came up with various business seminars and consulting firms. Results became much clearer when I typed in the whole "who is" part in quotes, first.

The biggest Magickal Undertaking I've done lately was the Creation of the NRG Practicum Ad. This included the simultaneous completion of several different things which tried me in varying ways, including my computer proficiency, my artistic ability (damn that NRG Sigil is hard to draw in a way that looks good on paper!), and several other things. The Creation of the NRG class is still a work-in-progress, which is testing my abilities to not only do various Energywork skills, but be able to organize them, write about them, and Teach them. It is Joyful work, but Work just the same, believe me.
One of the things that I'm most proud of recently is not only restarting--but continuing with--my Tai Chi Chuan Practice a few weeks ago. This is having so many global effects on my Life since the very first day I restarted, that I'm kicking myself for having not done it for so long.
Agape!
