The Golden Compass and it sequals are wonderful, let me know what you think! Although the Amber Spyglass gets a little weird. I haven't read it in awhile but from what I remember it was not what I had expected. (the amber spyglass is the third book in Pullman's series.) anyway, I definitely need some good books to read over winter break, I will read these! I recommend Everything is Illuminated by some guy i don't remember.
