I recently finished watching Firefly for the first time. And while I should have watched this amazingness much, much earlier, I can't really feel too bad based on how amazing it was to watch the brilliance that this show is for the first time. I HATE WHEN TV SHOWS RUIN YOUR LIIIIIIIIIIIFE. I love Firefly, though! It was one of those shows I tried not to get invested in and I held back really well for the first few episodes and then when it was ending it was like NOOOOOO I LOVE EVERYBODY TOO MUCH.

And OMG I agree so hard about the marriage being the best marriage on TV. It was just so good and normal.

As awesome as it is, I don't know if I'll watch the movie very often, although I know I'll definitely be rewatching the show at some point (when I get through all of the shows I want to start or catch up on!). That way I can just pretend it didn't happen and Inara came back and they all lived happily ever after.

It hooked me pretty much from the beginning. The music, and the style, and the characters, and everything. I have an especially soft spot for Kaylee, but if I talked about everyone in detail, it would probably cease to be rational and turn into a giant lovefest.

Zoe and Wash are just too perfect.
