A dog WILL eat or drink just about anything it can get it's jaws around. It's not necessarily universal, but most dogs will eat most things. Puppies are more likely to eat anything, but a dog will eat pills, plants, chocolate, antifreeze, coffee beans, alcohol... Cats will on occasion, but a dog is much more likely to eat first and ask questions ( Read more... )

Well, the owner only called, she didn't come in, so I can only hope the dog's ok, and the owner I assume remains at home.

I know how that goes. My cat, Izzy, decided to seek a new pouncing target - namely my antibiotics. I shook one out, and no more had I set it down, but she jumps up, grabs the tablet in her mouth...and the chase was on.

Little brat - I did get it back. No telling what 500mg of that would have done to her. Maybe nothing other than give her mother a heart attack.

Oh jeez... well, seeing as the cat dose of clavamox is 62.5mg usually... that could have involved some vomitting. :P

Pets... they're 2-year-olds that don't grow up. But, we love them anyway heh.
