Why I need a life...

After some time poking around in Norse mythology and all its fucked-upness (thanks to seeing Thor a few too many times) I have come to a conclusion:

There aren't enough Vikings in Doctor Who.

Or dinosaurs, for that matter.  But that doesn't quite fit with this post.

fandom: doctor who, crazy self is crazy

There's a Three episode with dinosaurs, isn't there? Or is it Two? I haven't seen it so clearly that's the next one up for rewatch XD

I'm not sure which one has the dinosaurs; I just know it is Two or Three. I've never seen it, either. But I'd love to, to see just how they handled them with their budget.

IA with this post!

I was bitterly disappointed when there was a classic Who episode that ended with the Master and the Rani being trapped in a TARDIS with a dinosaur and it was never followed up on. It would have been epic!

There's also a moment in the only Eight audio I've heard where he talks about riding on pterodactyls as a schoolboy...

And more Vikings are also great. (jessalrynn wrote a fun Nine, Jack, Rose adventure with Vikings. And possibly space pirates.)

I know, right? The Master and the Rani vs a dinosaur. There at least needs to be fic about how awesome that is.

I read that fic! It was hilarious, having them mistaken for the Norse gods. The thought of Jack as Odin almost broke me.

I think I'll have to reread that fic again.
