Weight

Yesterday I consumed less than 1,500 calories, played tennis for nearly three hours, and played DDR for almost an hour.

According to my scale, I gained a pound.

I call shenanigans.

Just playing DDR alone should have made you lose weight!

LOL! Yeah, that's the most physically trying video game I've ever played! :)

I'm guessing it's water weight... though the real question is, HOW do you have the stamina to play tennis for three hours on just 1,500 calories for the day?!? Between that and the wedding stuff, I'd say your new nickname should rightly be "superwoman." :)

LOL! Carl and I played three very competitive sets - winning takes precedence over exhaustion! ;)

Seriously, though, have you ever had such a good time biking around, enjoying a beautiful day, that you hardly notice (or flat-out ignore) any signs that your body's about to give out from lack of energy? That's pretty much what it was. My legs were jelly by the time I got home, but while we were playing, I felt great! :D hehe...

I call it muscle. Otherwise, I'd have stopped exercising a long time ago. That pooch on my stomach? Made of a pliable steel-like muscle, not Pop Tarts.

ROFL! Well, my legs are pretty muscular. Can't say the same about my stomach, though... ;)

Diets are evil. Exercise, and the terrorists win.

*dies* Hands down, the best excuse for not dieting/exercising that I've ever heard: "I don't diet or exercise! That's exactly what the terrorists would WANT me to do!"

*wipes a tear* priceless!
