All of these are very pretty :D

I know how you feel, I don't want to know Regionals spoilers either but I have been spoiled by something I saw on TV. I don't even know if it's worth it to avoid spoilers when I think I've already heard them.

boo. ):
Yeah I'm not sure it's worth it either but on the other hand, I like... I read some stuff but I stopped reading as soon as I knew it was spoilers, so I'm kind of vague on the details. And I'd love to you know. actually be surprised. XD

Same here xD I can't actually watch the Regionals episode when it airs though so I am pretty much guaranteed to get spoiled unless I literally don't go on the internet at all.

I was surprised to hear actual spoilers on TV! They just said it was "news" but they were spoilersss.

Your style reminds me so much of Quentin Blake's. And I love him.

I don't want spoilers, either, so it is hard to fine a place to be. Boo.

Hm. Well, I'm not trained as an artist, so I'll do my best to make sense of it, with my literature brain.

At first, it's the feeling. Something just...*feels* like him. In that, it gives me the same feelings. Happy and innocent, yet a little melancholy, but you don't really know why. It's especially noticeable when you draw people. Their personalities, for lack of a better term, just seem like his.

There's something in your lines that's soft and kinetic and surreal in a way that is innocent, but a self-conscious sort of innocence. Like...intentional innocence that's aware of worldly things but is going to step out of that for now.

Jesus god, I'm pretentious. I don't mean to be. It's just easier to made words DO what your pictures do than to try to be specific in an area I don't know enough about. I'll be happy to try to clarify if you want to ask. But if you want to delete this and step away from Crazy Writer, that's cool too.

And now I will entertain fantasies of you illustrating Caveat Empty's "Goodnight Kurt."

haha no no don't worry. I kind of do this rambly thing when I try describing what I like about fiction a lot too OTL

But. It's strangely accurate. I mean, just what you're saying here is kind of what I try to do portay with my drawings. (Because I have this peterpan-complex the size of the earth.)
And I can see how you see it in his work as well. (Maybe it kind of goes with children's books artists? Not that I am one of those, but I do like to do that innocent type of art and would not mind at all if I ever could illustrate one.)

haha oh dear, what's that? *must have missed something again*
