Movies 9/25 - 10/1

Well I was going to see The Illusionist Monday with my sister and it was the plan right up until we got to the theatre. Then she said it didn't seem like her type of movie and asked if we could see Hollywoodland. So we did. It was a good movie. Now The Ilusionist isn't playing anymore so I'll be waiting for the DVD. Good news. It's October. And

Is Hard Candy a thriller?
I've not heard of alot, it is great to read reviews knowing what to go for:)
I really would like to see 'Down in the Valley ', reads great:)

I've watched films from your reviews {I'm not good with Horrors,lol, they freak me out:) I've always been too convinced by them, so I try not to watch these)} and have enjoyed them.

A friend said I should watch 'The Proposition', Is this the Ray Winstone one you mentioned above?
If it is is sounds quite good, hope you enjoy it:)
Hope it is out here soon, the US has a much better supply of DVD rentails than over here.
Plus I really would like to see 'Metroland', it's older though, I think 1997, have you seen this, is it any good?

I'll have to look up Metroland. It sounds familiar but I don't think I've seen it yet. :)
