I think about lost youth at 23! I think i've been thinking about lost youth since I was 18. I've always been reluctant to grow up I guess. The best way to deal with happy 20 year olds is to yell obscenities at them. May I suggest a good "Fuck you bitches and your care free young lives!" Then maybe throw something at them and run.

On another note. How do you really know if anyone is flirting with you? I don't think i've ever really been able to properly distinguish flirting from friendliness throughout my entire life. I think I am naive and oblivious to the whole subject of flirting. Perhaps you should seek advice from a "Playa". The End

You are delightfully funny as always, Emily. I think that is some good advice about how to deal with the kids. Outbursts of hostility probably would do the trick. As far as the flirting goes, you can tell. Its harder with some people in some situations than with others, but is possible.

what exactly consitutes flirting?
i used to be told all the time I was flirting, when I just joke around with people.
but when i acted the same way toward guys it was flirting too much.

but i think flat out making a "pass" is the more obvious thing.
like asking someone if they want to hang out in their car in the dark
or grabbing their ass or something.

i hope you aren´t doing anything desperate for a raise! :/

Those 20 year olds appears to be using condoms. I applaud their responsibility. No one has made any "passes". What kind of raise would I get anyway, from 2.65 to 2.75 per hour? Wow! My money at work comes from the old women who I wait on. If I was going to flirt with anyone for money, it would unfortunatly have to be them. :-/

I felt that way when I was in college seeing high schoolers. Now that the little 11, 12, and 13 year olds come into Borders I want to be that irresponsible! Oye! Though I did hear the word "condoms" the other night and wasn't too jealous...

As for the whole flirting thing...well...that can always be fun if you play it right ;)
