Disgusted and Disappointed

Due to this whole awful mess, I am no longer a PayPal account holder.

And since PayPal is the preferred method for payments on Etsy, my Etsy shop is no more.

Until I can figure out a better method, of course. I plan on coming back to Etsy as a seller in the near future, but certainly not in time for Christmas.

Wow what a bunch of fuckheads!!! Like seriously I don't even.

Imagine if they found out about all the people on LJ who post donate buttons on their friends list just so they can pay a few bills on time. If anyone ever asks, just tell them they're vet bills and suddenly paypal will give a fuck, right... ugh.

But oh, all of those people are set up as proper charity organizations, I'm sure of it! I mean, since *only* proper charities can use the donate buttons. Yes.

Screw PayPal.

And I thought it was bad last week when they were (and still are) holding a fuckload of my ebay monies. Clearly, it could (and did) get worse. What utter bullshit.

I've never been a fan of PayPal, honestly. Their early loose security allowed someone to go in and suck a few hundred bucks from my dad, none of which was returned. And after three years, I still wasn't able to change my name. They refused to let me change my last name, even when EVERYTHING else has my married name now.

There has to be a better way. Let's start trading goats and chickens again.

I never actually thought about it, because it seemed like a necessary evil to buy and sell on ebay, which was something I both wanted and needed to do.

Seems like they're pretty much just evil.

I just have to say good for you that you took a stand! It is so annoying to see someone frustrated with indignation wave their finger in the general direction of the Big Box and say, "Why I oughta...."

Maybe just promote through your other blog? After Christmas, I plan on giving you glowing reviews on the Angry Bird hats and do what I can to drive bizness your way but I want to get a pic of my boys wearing them. I for one can't wait until they open their gifts cause I know they are going to love them.

I know I'll go back to Etsy at some point, but I plan on juicing up that blog big time. Especially now. Of course, I have to hook stuff... but that's just a silly detail! :D
