It's still kind of up in the air for us. We have a show on Saturday, which will require leaving somewhat early in the morning to get down to the venue. Also, we'll be driving back through the night, so Sunday may be spent half asleep at home.

Even so, I do want to try to make a bit of an appearance, not that there's anyone in particular looking for me.

Though maybe I'll catch you in the halls somewhere for the little while we stop by. You're always so busy at stuff like this, but it'd be nice to at least hold your attention for a moment. I suppose nothing will compare to sleeping on your shoulder in your car till 4 AM like MFF07.

Unfortunately, we are leaving too late to take advantage of the Amtrak discount, but I think I am going to have a lot of fun taking such a long train ride (Oh, and I might enjoy MFF and being in Chicago, too).

You could always use the discount to come TO Chicago, and reserve it sans-discount on the way back! Amtrak charges per leg of the trip, not the trip as a whole.

If we were taking Amtrak roundtrip, that would be true, but due to time circumstances we are flying out there. I can't really complain, though, since we are leaving town like a week later.
