I really like this--and the style, the stream-of-consciousness thing that's going on, it's particularly effective during their night of passion...Ugh. It just gives me pain that it was so short-lived, and this is so beautiful and disjointed and all over the place and I love the non-linear feel to it.

Their one happy night... the thing that really kills me is the fact that they don't even get the MEMORY, because it's been tarnished after-the-fact by issues of consent etc, and it's just so, so sad that the happiness that they characters manage to achieve doesn't even get to live on in their memories.
