I called my brother last night at around 8:30 to ask if my mom had started watching The Golden Globes. We had both DVR'd it. I said, "OK, don't say anything to her, but when she screams about two minutes after the show starts, tell her that she can call me because I've already starting watching it." I love DVR. My favorite speech was Hugh Laurie. So British and witty (even though I think his House voice is sexier). I'm also happy that Alec Baldwin won. Even though I don't love the show, I think he's really good on it.

I thought Hugh's speech was better last year. Poor Forrest Whittaker!!

Forrest was definitely unhinged. I tuned in late, so I didn't catch Jennifer's win, but I do agree that Hugh Laurie was great. He is a sexy beast. As is Alec Baldwin.

i don't see Hugh Laurie as sexy, despite his accent. Alec Baldwin is attractive, though.
